- Is eBay dropshipping allowed in Australia?
- Yes. eBay allows dropshipping when you source from a wholesale supplier and remain responsible for the order, delivery times and returns. Reselling from another retail marketplace is not permitted, so we teach compliant supplier sourcing from day one.
- How much do I need to start?
- Most students start with a modest float for their first orders plus their eBay fees. You pay suppliers only after a customer has paid you, so upfront stock cost is minimal compared with traditional retail.
- Do I need an ABN or a registered business?
- You can start as a sole trader with an ABN. Once you pass the GST turnover threshold you will need to register for GST. We walk you through the basics and point you to the right professional advice for your situation.
- Can I sell to the US market from Australia?
- Yes. Many of our students run both an Australian and a US eBay presence. The mentorship covers both markets, including supplier choice and shipping expectations for each.
- How long before I make my first sale?
- It depends on how quickly you list and how well your products are researched. Students who follow the listing schedule usually see their first orders within the first few weeks.
